Adrian worked at UNStudio, Shanghai in 2016 as an Architect in commercial and cultural projects; from 2014-15 he worked at Arup (Arup Associates) as a Senior Designer in the Sports Venue Design and Interchange teams (infrastructure projects); finally, from 2012-14 he worked as a Senior Designer at Zaha Hadid Architects, in urban developments, private housing, residential, cultural, touristic and mixed used projects. Currently, Adrian directs AA (Adrian Aguirre Architecture & Design) focusing on digital and analogue fabrication, aiming to stablish a new architectural paradigm where spatial spaces have been replaced by heterogeneous fields of interaction, his main goal is to augment human interaction at all scales, creating adaptable, flexible and evolutive systems.
Recently his book “Accidental Architecture” was published for its digital version under the Kindle-Amazon platform, “Accidental Architecture” explores under a theoretical base temporal, accidental and design fundamentals in Architecture; in 2012 and 2014 he published “Self-destructive systems” and “Accidental Architecture” respectively for Ktisma Journal (Architectural magazine from Oregon University), and acted in 2016 as guest editor.
His work has been displayed in Novosibirsk, Russia at the Golden Capital Festival, in 2007; at Abu Dhabi, UAE, from the Capital Garden Competition and in London, UK, at the AA in 2011 and 2012 and this summer at the 2017 Antepavilion exhibition from the Architecture Foundation. Contact
