A place to see and be seen, a place to rest and face the sea/screen, an element for contemplation. Looking through/inside/outside the structure, the proposal frames moments and elements: the sea, the screen and the sky, “Flexible ground” aims to foster human interaction through a space which can be occupied at any moment during the day.
A 9.00m x 9.00m surface as initial state, a 1.00m x 1.00m grid was placed to allocate the seating area, then a gentle pull at the corners from 0.50m to a maximum of 4.00m the seating area develops a natural viewing angle for the spectators, a 1.00m edge remains at level to allow circulation creating a visual threshold from the upper corner and the ground.
